Part 59: Ryoko Shinonome 4

Chapter 59: Ryoko Shinonome 4

Music: Just Because (Composer: Azusa Chiba, Arranger: Rikako Watanabe)

Consider Mr. Ida

As someone with ADHD, I know that feeling! *laugh track*
Use Mr. Ida on Ms. Morimura

Note: Gonna break kayfabe here because I’m fairly certain this line is an error. Even just based purely on what we know, the Sentinel Infection Incident took place in 2064, not 2024, as can be seen in the Event Archive. That would be the assumed point of Ida’s disappearance. Even further than that, there are no missing scenes in the Event Archive in between “The Sentinel Infection Incident” and “The Day Mr. Ida Saved Me”, which is when Ida shows up in 1984 to pick up Ryoko from the police station. The only other event in between those two is one we’ve already seen, “The Boy From the Future”, when Juro Izumi appears in his Sentinel in 2024 before Megumi and Tomi. I don’t remember any information from my earlier playthrough that contradicts this version of events or makes what the game says make sense, so we’re just going to treat it as a simple mistake.

Anyway, we’re going to skip the rest of the preamble we’ve already seen here and just cut to the part where we leave the nurse’s office.
Music: The Plot Thickens (Rikako Watanabe)

Use Run Away on Tomi Kisaragi

And ditch him we shall.

This time, we’re going right instead of left.

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Consider Pills

Well, maybe if you didn’t take them a handful at a time, girl!

Consider Pills

I didn’t get a shot of it, but Hijiyama here is referred to as “Suspicious Man,” heh.

Girl, that’s bad for your throat.

Consider Pills

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Ryoko’s head is pounding.
Consider Compatible Girls

Music: Sneaking Suspicions (Kikuchi Yukinori)

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Consider Ampoule
Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Consider Medication Record

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Didn’t we hear about Morimura trying to perform memory experiments on her younger clone (Chihiro) too? Oh, and Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Ryoko’s head is pounding. Through the distorted fog affecting Ryoko’s mind, the door to the nurse’s office can just barely be heard opening…

Ryoko’s head is pounding. By this point, even her own voice is heavily distorted in Ryoko’s fragmented mind. It’s even affecting the music.

Music: Double Bind (Mitsuhiro Kaneda)

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Ryoko’s head? Oh yeah, it’s pounding all right.

Ryoko’s head is pounding.

Okay, jeez, I won’t, game. You’ve made that very clear.
